A little more about me...

Hi I'm Katie. I first fell in love with travel when I went backpacking with my best friend around Mexico, Guatemala and Belize after A Levels. We had SO many adventures and I couldn't wait to have more.

Studying French and Italian at university gave me the chance to live and work in Paris, Florence and Rome, a Swiss ski resort, and organise school ski trips across Europe. During university holidays, I backpacked around Egypt, Israel and Jordan (highlights were the incredible temples in Petra and Wadi Rum desert). Then after uni I grabbed my rucksack again and went with friends around Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore (elephant treks, jungle adventures, turtle hunts).

Then I joined the advertising industry but the wanderlust stayed, so during a sabbatical I took off with a friend around the world... Angkor Wat in Cambodia, floating down incredible rivers in Laos, the barrier reef in Oz, boiling hot geysers in NZ, awesome snorkelling in Fiji, the salt plains, the Amazon and the world's most dangerous road in Bolivia, carnival in Rio, Machu Picchu in Peru, and the stunning islands in Venezuela.

After ticking off so many things on my wishlist, in over 45 countries, I was constantly helping friends plan and book their holidays, until someone suggested I do this professionally. So I did, and qualified as a travel agent so I can help more people tick off their adventure wishlists too.

Or if you're one of those people who love holidays but would rather research it all yourself, I can show you how to save on your own travel instead.
